Coaching
I believe our unique human story and lived experience has a huge impact on how we engage with the world, often on a subconscious level. Part of my role as a coach is to explore this and explore my coachee’s view of the world and how that might impact their relationships. What I call joining the dots backwards.
As a coach with a strong narrative background I explore people's connection to their own story and identify patterns from the past that might be manifesting in the present. It is these connections that determine who and how we are in the world.
When I coach and support people to make these connections and have insights, it’s a bit like pulling a connection out of Dumbledore’s pensieve from Harry Potter. We can then examine it and the coachee can make choices about how to do things differently.

I am a seasoned coach, with over 500 hours of 1:1 experience and have been personally accredited by the Association for Coaching.
I am also a founder and non-executive director of Ambito Partners and do much of my coaching for them, normally when an organisation has commissioned the work. If it is an individual who is arranging and paying for the coaching I do this myself through my Sipala partnership. Please see my coaching bio below and my philosophy of coaching:
I have been running Ambito's flagship accredited Coach Training Programme, called Coaching Mastery, since 2018 and am thoroughly enjoying working with my fellow Ambito Directors,
in delivering the current programme.
This programme is suitable for professionals from a variety of backgrounds. Whether you’re a leader seeking to enhance your professional skill set or looking for a purposeful career change by becoming a certified coach, Coaching Mastery offers a powerful path forward. We recommend that you have experience at a senior management level or that you’re on a fast track to a leadership position. Alternatively a background in HR, psychology related professions or people development would be suitable.
